One is familiar, widely used, and deeply rooted in traditional geopolitical framing. The other is newer, broader, and increasingly used in forward-looking global conversations.
So why the shift? And what changes when we change the name?

While MENA is the standard European-derived acronym, we utilize WANA (West Asia and North Africa) to center the region on its own geographic identity.
By moving away from 19th-century colonial terminology, we align our brand with a self-defined, modern future. We may occasionally use MENA for industry-standard search clarity, but WANA is our ideological north star.

Founders will browse a curated directory of regional experts to book on-demand sessions. Each advisor manages their own availability and rates, facilitating a direct, frictionless connection for tactical problem-solving and strategic planning.
How can I join as an Expert?
Submit your interest via our waitlist and indicate your background as an advisor. We will begin reviewing applications and onboarding our first cohort of senior leaders before the official platform release.
What is the cost?
We are currently defining a pricing structure that reflects the premium value of our advisors while remaining accessible to rising startups. Final fee schedules will be released at launch, though signing up for the waitlist remains free of charge.
